Xue Lian Mountain

This past Sunday morning I went hiking with my friend Jason, whom I recently met at a couples study, along with some of his family and friends.  We went to Xue Nian Mountain about 20 minutes south of where I live (it took me a while to understand the name of the mountain).  Even though their were so many people, it was still a beautiful getaway from the normal hustle and bustle of city life.

Steps...  there are always so many steps in China

Some of the people I went hiking with

I love the stone pathway through the trees!  For some reason it makes me think of the Wizard of Oz  (Perhaps I could Photoshop the path yellow...)

The top of the mountain!

...and more steps

A Final Tucson Shoot...

Just before leaving Tucson I got together with Dave to do a few photographs for a worship project he is working on.  You may remember Dave and Juju from their beautiful wedding back in September.  This was my last shoot before leaving Tucson.

March Wallpaper of the Month

It's been a while since I posted a monthly wallpaper and it feels good to have a new one up.  This months wallpaper was taken when I was up at Windy Point with the Scotts.  It is looking south-east over Tucson with Kitt Peak visible in the distant center.

Click here for the standard 4:3 aspect ratio, or here for the wide 16:9

Enjoy!

The Scott Family

The Scotts are a frequent, and always welcome, sight around here.  Just before leaving Tucson they had me do some updated family photos for their one year anniversary.  We always have such a good time and this was no exception (Thank you for being such good friends).

Until next time,
Robert
