Rebekah's great grandma Vaupel made this beautiful dress and hat for Rebekah and we LOVE them! What better way to show them (and Rebekah) off than to do a photoshoot! Rebekah will be seven months old on January 4th.

Christmas in Havana
Christmas was very low key this year. We spent three days with Anna's Grandma and Aunt in Havana, Florida, with no real plans but to spend time together. Rebekah was definitely the center of attention, as usual. All-in-all we ate way too many sweets, but had a fabulous time.
Rebekah had the opportunity to meet two small house dogs while in Florida. Her
reaction to them was priceless! EVERY TIME when Rebekah heard the
dogs, her eyes would become large. Then, when Rebekah saw the dogs,
she would start to quiver, flail her arms, jump up and down, and give
an excited high-pitched scream! Fortunately the dogs didn't mind
this little human's reaction to them. What a fun experience!

Something Cute
This picture is from back in October, but I thought it was too cute not to share. About this time Rebekah discovered she had feet...

Christmas in November
The Vaupel family traditionally celebrates Christmas with the extended family when they get together for Thanksgiving. It's been a few years since everyone was able to make it, so this was quite the special time!
Food, family, festivities; what could be better!?
May God bless you and your family richly this holiday season!

Turkey Trot 2012
2012 marked the 3rd annual Turkey Trot and it seems to get better and better every year! Well, maybe not on my side of things. Last year I came down with a nasty Thanksgiving bug and wasn't able to participate. This year it was way past my bedtime of 9am and so I was designated photographer. That being said, I loved taking the pictures and capturing the event.

Point Park
A family friend met us at Point Park on Lookout Mountain to show us around. Anna hadn't been up there for years, and it was all new to me, so we had a great time (Thanks, John)! I would love to spend a little more time up there and go hiking, but that is for another day.

The battle on Lookout Mountain was nicknamed "Battle above the Clouds." If you are a history buff and want more information, then check out the Wikipedia page here.

Rebekah Mae at Three (and a half) Months
Rebekah will be four months old on October 4th, and continues to change every day. In the past month she has learned how to reach out and grab things, as well as how to put all these things into her mouth. She's more work all the time... but totally worth it!

The Vaupel Family
While on the topic of family, we went down to Georgia this past weekend to see the extended Vaupel family (Minus Anna's older sister and brother-in-law). When I say "Vaupel family" I really mean "the Vaupel side of the family". During our time there we celebrated four birthdays complete with a piƱata and a healthy portion of sweets.

The Wilson Family
A couple days before leaving Colorado the Wilson family got together for some family pictures. It seems like nobody ever wants to have pictures done but everybody is always happy to have them. These are the first pictures our family has had together in many years, so we are glad to have them.
Thanks for looking!
