Two weeks ago I went to the Zoo with my buddy Joe to take pictures. I had a good time with Joe, although I can't say I am a big fan of the zoo. It's like going to an old-time carnival and looking at all the "freaks". Who you see is not who they are. "For after years of living in a cage, a lion no longer even believes it is a lion . . . and a man no longer believes he is a man." John Eldredge. You are no longer looking at a lion, nor photographing one. You are merly looking at a replica, a fake; something that has long been lost.
All that being said; I really did enjoy myself and hanging out. I didn't mind taking pictures of the little creatures that don't seem to mind little cages either. Thanks for looking!
